... but deep down inside your heart, you know you can't do without him or her!

Manly Charm
Nope, this entry (as the title suggests) is not another narcissistic write-up about myself. Haha... all right, I admit it's going to be partly but not solely about me :p. Just as I had wanted to take a break from the "Savouring Sydney" series of blog titles (and in case I get accused of having limited vocabulary or lacking in creativity =) haha...), I thought I had better get my creative juices flowing with more quirky headings! So much for my long-windedness ^^, I shall now let my photos do the talking...
Looking out of Manly Bay, I saw the meeting of the sky and the waterway with several natural and man-made structures caught in between.
The buildings come in all shapes...
... and sizes.

And some even look like miniature models!
Yup, you've guessed it... this is Manly Wharf!
From left to right: The national flag of Australia, the state flag of New South Wales, and the flag of Australia's aboriginal culture - black represents the indigenous Australians, red is the colour of the earth, and the yellow circle in between symbolises the sun.

I haven't seen a public phone in ages!
Bread and pastry galore... yummy!!!
What's Harry doing in Manly?
Skilful craftsmanship: The Didgeridoo (pronounced as "Dee-jer-re-do") is a traditional musical instrument made by the Australian aboriginal people.
I blew with all my might but no matter how hard I tried to blow, I just didn't seem to sound right!

A talent showcase: This bazaar sells everything from...
... cup cakes (that look like the real ones) and tea sets...

... to albums and diaries...
... and even plates and saucers!

Both sides of the street leading from Manly wharf to Manly beach are lined with shops for the fashion-conscious!

Crossing over to Manly beach where surfer dudes and babes are in abundance! =)

Besides the beach volleyball, the American football is also a popular sport here in Manly!
You may be alone in a foreign land...
... but it's always comforting to know that your friends are always behind you! =)
The aftermath of a fight - when you and your loved one decide to go in separate ways...
... and pretend that you don't care...
So there you are with your other half, celebrating your reunion with family and friends and you're one happy bird again! ^^

Awww... this doggie's so cute!!! Whenever his female owner says "pussy cat", his ears will stand up and his tail will start to wriggle.
Has Manly captivated your heart yet?
