I write, I wrote, I've written

What better way to hone my writing skills than to write for a publication? From 11 May to 5 Jul this year, I've had the pleasure of undertaking an internship with the Defence Ministry. As a writer with PIONEER magazine and its online edition, cyberpioneer, my jobscope entailed the search for news scoops and the carrying out of interviews with newsmakers. I've had the privilege of attending two media briefings for this year's National Day Parade where I witnessed all that was going on behind the scenes. PIONEER has given me a most invaluable insight into the making of a monthly magazine made possible only by the selfless people behind the publication. I take pride in being able to share with you my first articles ever to be published on the internet:

To my friends at PIONEER, thank you for letting Sebastian into your closely-knitted family. Your passion, committment and belief in your cause have left me with deep admiration and respect. I hope I've impacted your lives as much as you've impacted mine.
