Olympic Fever Down Under

Specially created for the Sydney 2000 Olympics, the Sydney Olympic Park at Homebush Bay is approximately the size of 1196 American football fields. Today, the Olympic Park in New South Wales has established itself as a popular tourist attraction as it continues to host major sporting events.

Jesse and I posing for the camera as we headed towards the Olympic Park.
The stadium looking kinda' futuristic! Cool huh?
This 177-room hotel which serves the Sydney Olympic Park is located along Olympic Boulevard overlooking the stadium.
Nope, these are NOT for pole-dancing! :p
Many of these poles showcased the names of athletes who have participated in the Sydney 2000 Olympics in alphabetical order...... while others became canvases for the expression of artistic creativity...
... and cute cartoon characters too!
Athletes from the "Yang" family!!!
Sebby grabbing every chance to "camwhore" again! Hehe... =)
I think Australia's Ian Thorpe is one of the world's fastest male swimmers in history.

Even the bus stop was made to look "sporty"!
